Following his big win at the 2019 BET Awards, Burna Boy has thanked organisers and Africans for their support.
While he stated that he is not “big on awards”, he, however, said that this award meant a lot to him.
The ‘Killin Dem’ crooner was announced as winner of the Best International Act category on Sunday.
He was nominated in the category alongside fellow Nigerian singer, Mr Eazi, and others such as AKA (South Africa); Aya Nakamura (France); Dave (U.K.); Dosseh (France) and Giggs (U.K).
The award was received by his mother who also doubles as his manager.
